Description: The IgG fraction is prepared from the specific rabbit antiserum by delipidation, ammonium sulfate fractionation and anion exchange chromatography. The total protein is measured using the Biuret procedure, with bovine albumin as a standard. Each IgG fraction is tested for purity at a minimum of 40 mg/ml using immunoelectrophoresis. The product is mostly rabbit IgG; no trace of albumin is detected.
