We are excited to announce a new enhancement on vwr.com, to provide our customers with greater flexibility and convenience when placing orders.
What’s New?
You can now specify your requested delivery date at the item level directly in your shopping cart. This means you can request deliveries for dates that best suit your schedule, helping you better manage seasonal closures and demand planning.
How It Works:
- Item-Level Flexibility: Each item in your shopping cart now has a new field where you can enter your desired delivery date. Simply choose a future date that works for you
- Multiple Delivery Dates: You can select different delivery dates for different items, allowing for more precise planning
- Header-Level Option: If you prefer, you can also choose a single delivery date for all items in your order at the header level
- This enhancement is a direct response to customer feedback, and we hope it makes your shopping experience even better. The new field is easy to find and use, right in your shopping cart
Note: Requested delivery dates, will not override any planned customer delivery schedules. For example, if you receive deliveries on a Wednesday only, the delivery will be made on the Wednesday closest to the requested delivery date.
New transparency for European customers
We’re providing our European customers with a new enhancement providing additional clarity on stock locations for their orders. Now, shopping carts indicate if the stock is held in a local warehouse or in a warehouse in central Europe. This is better for customers because locally held stock will be delivered quicker than stock in a central location. This new transparency enables better delivery control for our customers.
