Supplier: Biotium
Description: Kits for increasing immunofluorescence sensitivity using HRP-catalysed tyramide signal amplification with the choice of next-generation fluorescent CF® dyes or biotin.

Supplier: SIGMA ALDRICH MICROSCOPY
Description: Wright′s Stain solution is commercially available and is generally used in hematology. Its preparation involves heating methylene blue with sodium bicarbonate and combining the mixture with eosin. It is alkaline, hence, its concentration is continuously changing due to the progressive oxidizing action of the alkali. Therefore, Giemsa′s stain is added to preserve the azurophilic properties of polychrome dyes.

Description: Members of the BAGE gene family encode antigens that are recognized by cytotoxic T lymphocytes and are also known as CT (cancer/testis) antigens. Generated by juxtacentromeric shuffling of the MLL3 gene, the ancestral BAGE gene was expanded by acrocentric exchanges and/or juxtacentromeric movements. BAGE, also known as B melanoma antigen 1 or cancer/testis antigen 2.1, is a 43 amino acid member of the BAGE family. Generally, BAGE proteins are not expressed in normal tissues, except in testis, but are expressed highly in melanomas, bladder carcinomas, head and neck squamous cell carcinomas, and lung and breast cancer carcinomas. BAGE proteins are not expressed in renal, colorectal and prostatic carcinomas, leukemias and lymphomas.

Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
Description: GC UNC45 (general cell UNC45/unc45a) is an Hsp90 co-chaperone that has been shown to play a critical role in the chaperoning of myosin proteins as well as the progesterone receptor (PR). There are two known vertebrate isoforms of UNC45 that are functional orthologs of the C. elegans unc-45, an important protein in the development of organized body wall muscles. The vertebrate general cell form (GC UNC45/unc45a) is ubiquitously expressed, while the striated muscle-specific isoform (SM UNC45/unc45b) is found in cardiac and skeletal muscle. In vitro, GC UNC45 preferentially binds the Hsp90 beta isoform, and is specifically required for proper cellular distribution of Hsp90β but not Hsp90α.

Description: Glycolytic enzyme that catalyzes the transfer of a phosphoryl group from phosphoenolpyruvate (PEP) to ADP, generating ATP. Stimulates POU5F1-mediated transcriptional activation. Plays a general role in caspase independent cell death of tumor cells. The ratio betwween the highly active tetrameric form and nearly inactive dimeric form determines whether glucose carbons are channeled to biosynthetic processes or used for glycolytic ATP production. The transition between the 2 forms contributes to the control of glycolysis and is important for tumor cell proliferation and survival.

Description: Spo11 is a type II topoisomerase that is thought to generate the chromosome breaks that initiate meiotic recombination. The Spo11 protein initiates meiotic recombination by generating DNA double-strand breaks (DSBs) and is required for meiotic synapsis in S. cerevisiae. The DSBs are located mostly in promoter regions, where the chromatin is in an open configuration, and cluster in domains along the chromosome. Expression of the Spo11 is detected mainly in the testis, in agreement with its predicted function in the initiation of meiotic recombination. Disruption of Spo11 leads to severe gonadal abnormalities from defective meiosis and results in infertility.
