Supplier: R L ENTERPRISES
Description: Aluminium.

Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-9665R-A488)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Plays a role in the incorporation of pigments into hair. May function in membrane fusion and regulate the biogenesis of disk membranes of photoreceptor rod cells (By similarity).
UOM: 1 * 100 µl

Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-11560R-CY5)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Transducin is a 3-subunit guanine nucleotide-binding protein (G protein) which stimulates the coupling of rhodopsin and cGMP-phoshodiesterase during visual impulses. The transducin alpha subunits in rods and cones are encoded by separate genes. This gene encodes the alpha subunit in cones.
UOM: 1 * 100 µl

Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-13308R)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: The intracellular stimulation of guanylate cyclase (GC) by calcium, a key event in the recovery of the dark state of rod photoreceptors after exposure to light, is mediated by guanylate cyclase-activating proteins (GCAP). GCAPs are calcium-binding proteins belonging to the calmodulin superfamily and are specifically expressed in retina. GCAP3 (Guanylyl cyclase-activating protein 3), also known as GUCA1C (Guanylate cyclase activator 1C), is a 209 amino acid EF-hand calcium binding protein that is activated by the decrease in calcium from the absorption of light by rhodopsin. Activation of GCAP3 leads to stimulation of guanylate cyclase 1 and 2 (GC1 and GC2), which increases cGMP concentration. Calcium sensitive regulation of GC is essential in recovery of the rod receptor dark state following light exposure. There are two isoforms of GCAP3 that are produced as a result of alternative splicing events.

Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-6216R-CY5.5)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Nuclear receptor that binds DNA as a monomer to ROR response elements (RORE) containing a single core motif half-site 5'-AGGTCA-3' preceded by a short A-T-rich sequence. Considered to have intrinsic transcriptional activity, have some natural ligands such as all-trans retinoic acid (ATRA) and other retinoids which act as inverse agonists repressing the transcriptional activity. Required for normal postnatal development of rod and cone photoreceptor cells. Modulates rod photoreceptors differentiation at least by inducing the transcription factor NRL-mediated pathway. In cone photoreceptor cells, regulates transcription of OPN1SW. Involved in the regulation of the period length and stability of the circadian rhythm. May control cytoarchitectural patterning of neocortical neurons during development. May act in a dose-dependent manner to regulate barrel formation upon innervation of layer IV neurons by thalamocortical axons. May play a role in the suppression of osteoblastic differentiation through the inhibition of RUNX2 transcriptional activity (By similarity)
UOM: 1 * 100 µl
