Supplier: OZ BIOSCIENCES
Description: Lullaby™ is an ideal siRNA transfection reagent for gene silencing. Based on the TEE-technology, it has been successfully tested on numerous cell lines, reaching up to 90% gene silencing with high reproducibility and very low toxicity. RNA interference is a powerful technique to shut down genes expression in cells and organisms. This silencing effect constitutes a very helpful tool to study gene function and a promising approach for new therapeutic treatments.

Supplier: G-Biosciences
Description: Single tissue and multiple species blot contains four protein lanes with an identical GenLysate™ tissue lysate from human, mouse and rat species, and a protein marker lane.

Supplier: Merck
Description: <p>Western blot packages with unbelievable savings! Save time and money by choosing the package that best serves your needs! The SNAP i.d.® system applies a vacuum to actively drive reagents through the membrane, promoting antigen binding and thorough washing, enabling you to better optimise your Western blotting.</p>

Supplier: G-Biosciences
Description: Concanavalin A (Con A) agarose consists of Con A coupled to 6% agarose by the cyanogen bromide method. Con A is a tetrameric metalloprotein lectin isolated from <i>Canavalia ensiformis</i> (jack bean). It is used for the purification of glycoproteins, polysaccharides and glycolipids as it binds molecules containing α-D-mannopyranosyl, α-D-glucopyranosyl and sterically related residues. It has also be used in other application areas including purification of enzyme-antibody conjugates, purification of IgM and separation of membrane vesicles. As stated above, it is a metalloprotein and to maintain its binding characteristics the presence of both Mn²⁺ and Ca²⁺ is essential. Each subunit of Con A utilises one calcium and one manganese ion and these cations can be removed under acidic conditions abolishing the carbohydrate-binding activity.

Supplier: Avantor
Description: J.T.Baker® Viral Inactivation Solution Biotech Reagent is a highly effective, ready-to-use product, specifically developed for detergent-based viral inactivation in biopharmaceutical operations and plasma derived therapy processes. J.T.Baker® Viral Inactivation Solution is formulated with non-ionic detergent, that is readily biodegradable and alkylphenol ethoxylate free, addressing environmental concerns associated with REACH. This innovative solution is optimized to have low protein reactive impurities, low viscosity and compatibility with typical downstream processes. J.T.Baker® Viral Inactivation Solution Biotech Reagent is cGMP and available in a variety of sizes to support development to large scale commercial batches. Detail description provided in technical literature.
Supplier: Merck
Description: Western blotting is a commonly used technique for studying protein function and localisation. Typically, protein samples are electrophoresed on SDS-page and transferred to a membrane such as nitrocellulose or nylon, where they are probed with specific antibodies. Unlike nucleic acid based technologies, which allow reuse of southern and northern blots, it has been difficult to reuse western blots.

Supplier: OZ BIOSCIENCES
Description: Magnetofectamine™ O2 is a powerful transfection kit designed for primary and hard-to-transfect cells. The alliance of MTX transfection reagent and CombiMag leads to increased transfection efficiency, minimised toxicity and enhanced gene expression. CombiMag, a magnetic formulation based on the Magnetofection™ technology, binds to MTX transfection reagent/DNA complexes and under the application of a magnetic field concentrates the genetic material onto cells and promotes cellular uptake. In this way, transfection efficiency is enhanced.
