Supplier: Corning
Description: The efficient removal of unincorporated dNTPs, salts and enzymes after any PCR is detrimental to the success or failure of downstream applications, such as genotyping, Sanger, and Next Generation Sequencing. The AxyPrep™ Mag PCR Clean Up Kit utilises a paramagnetic bead technology for rapid high throughput purification of PCR products. Additionally, the AxyPrep™ Mag PCR Clean Up Kit employs an optimised buffer to selectively bind PCR amplicons 60 bp and larger to paramagnetic beads, providing end users flexibility and high recovery options. The protocol comprises binding, washing and eluting steps, where primers, nucleotides, salts and enzymes in the reaction mixture are efficiently removed leaving a purified PCR product that is essentially free of contaminants. No centrifugation or filtration steps are required, allowing the process to be adapted to multiple commercially available automation platforms.

Supplier: Quantabio
Description: Extracta™ DBS is a ready to use DNA extraction reagent for rapid and efficient recovery of PCR-ready DNA from dried blood spots (DBS) on Guthrie cards or Whatman® 903 filter/TFN or 226 from Ahlstrom Munksjö paper. This patented single-solution process produces DNA eluates that are substantially free of PCR inhibitors and compatible with a variety of end-point PCR, real-time PCR and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) or Sanger Sequencing reagents. Application of Extracta DBS with PerfeCTa® qPCR ToughMix® or PerfeCTa MultiPlex qPCR ToughMix® enables accurate and reproducible quantification of DNA sequences in blood using TaqMan® hydrolysis probe real-time qPCR.
Supplier: Quantabio
Description: qScript™ XLT cDNA SuperMix is a next generation tool for first-strand cDNA synthesis, providing a highly sensitive and easy to use solution for two-step RT-PCR and RT-qPCR. qScript XLT is an engineered M-MLV reverse transcriptase with reduced RNase H activity and improved activity and stability at higher temperatures. Combined with a precise mixture of reaction components, this SuperMix enables superior results over a wide dynamic range of input RNA, with up to 8-fold higher sensitivity than cDNA synthesis kits utilising an RNase H(+) reverse transcriptase (RT).
Supplier: OMEGA BIO-TEK
Description: The Mag-Bind® Blood and Tissue DNA HDQ 96 Kit is designed for rapid and reliable isolation of high quality genomic DNA from 100 to 200 μl blood samples, buccal swabs, buffy coat and cultured cells. All heating steps that limit robotic applications have been removed to allow for faster processing. Mag-Bind® particles HDQ provide quick magnetic response time reducing overall processing time. Utilising paramagnetic particles provides high quality DNA that is suitable for direct use in most downstream applications, such as qPCR, PCR and Next Generation Sequencing. The Mag-Bind® HDQ Blood DNA and Tissue 96 Kit is compatible with many robotic liquid handlers and magnetic processors, including Thermo Scientific KingFisher® Flex.

Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
Description: Cyanine 5-dUTP can replace TTP in reactions in which it serves as a substrate for E. coli DNA polymerase (holoenzyme and Klenow fragment), T4 and Taq DNA polymerases, reverse transcriptase (from AMV and M-MuLV) and terminal transferase. Fluorescently labeled probes can be prepared with this fluorescent nucleotide by a variety of methods including nick translation, cDNA labeling and 3’-end labeling. Probes generated by these methods are suitable for use for the identification of specific sequences by in situ hybridization procedures on fixed cells and tissues by direct fluorescence detection. Cyanine 5-dUTP can also be used for multicolor fluorescence labeling.

Catalog Number: (BSENM-1311-100)
Supplier: Biosensis
Description: The 6X His tag is a short peptide sequence of 6 histidine residues. Epitopes such as the 6X His tag are often included with the target DNA at the time of cloning to produce fusion proteins containing the tag sequence. This allows anti-epitope tag antibodies such as this one to serve as a universal detection reagent for any recombinant protein containing this tag. Anti-epitope antibodies are a useful alternative to generating antibodies to identify a specific recombinant protein. The 6X His motif is often used as a tag on recombinant proteins to facilitate purification with immobilized metal-affinity chromatography.

Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-5364R)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Two HSFs have been identified in human cells, HSF 1 and HSF 2, which bind to the same HSEs and have 38% sequence identity. These factors are activated by distinct stimuli, HSF 1 is responsive to classical stress signals such as heat, heavy metals and oxidative reagents, whereas HSF 2 is activated during hemin-mediated differentiation of human erythroleukemia cells.HSF 1 exists constitutively in the cytoplasm and the nucleus of unstressed cells as a monomer which lacks DNA binding activity. Through an unknown signal generated during stress, HSF 1 becomes activated to a nuclear localized, trimeric state which binds to DNA. The phosphorylation of HSF 1 is necessary for maximal transcription of heat shock genes.
