Description: Glycerine (glycerol) USP, Ph. Eur., BP
Supplier: VWR Chemicals
Description: Highly concentrated Taq DNA polymerase glycerol free 50 U/µl is ideal for industrial use and manufactures of diagnostic PCR kits.
Supplier: Merck
Description: Glycerine for synthesis, Sigma-Aldrich®
Catalog Number: (ENZOBMLEI1500005)
Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
Description: Inhibits protein kinase C activation by diacylglycerols. Stimulates HL-60 cell differentiation. Biosynthetic precursor of PAF via remodeling and retroconversion/de novo routes. Induces delayed aggregation of rabbit platelets. Mitogenic for smooth muscle cells.
UOM: 1 * 5 mg

Supplier: VWR Chemicals
Description: VWR® Taq DNA Polymerase Glycerol Free 5U/µl is a thermostable recombinant DNA polymerase, which exhibits very high activity in primer extension and other molecular biology applications. The enzyme is isolated from Thermus aquaticus and has a molecular weight of approximately 94 kDa.
Supplier: SIGMA ALDRICH MICROSCOPY
Description: Glycerol alters the hygroscopic property of gelatin and its permeability to water vapour. Glycerol gelatin or glycerine jelly medium is an aqueous slide mounting media, used for mounting samples in microscopy and histology.

Catalog Number: (02578-1ML)
Supplier: Merck
Description: (±)-Epichlorhydrin, Supelco®
UOM: 1 * 1 mL

Supplier: Avantor
Description: Glycerol, anhydrous, Ultrapure Bioreagent, for enzyme stabilisation, freezing and electrophoresis buffers.
Supplier: Merck
Description: (±)-Epichlorhydrin for synthesis, Sigma-Aldrich®
Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-4062R-A750)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Glycerol kinase catalyses the formation of glycerol 3 phosphate from ATP and glycerol. Dihydroxyacetone and L glyceraldehyde can also act as acceptors; UTP and, in the case of the yeast enzyme, ITP and GTP can act as donors. It provides a way for glycerol derived from fats or glycerides to enter the glycolytic pathway.
UOM: 1 * 100 µl

Catalog Number: (1.04095.0250)
Supplier: Merck
Description: Glycerol is an aqueous mounting agent for preparation permanent slides of material of human origin or fluorescence microscopy. 100 ml are sufficient for approx. 200 - 300 applications. The mounting agent is an IVD registered product and CE certified, thus can be used for clinical diagnostic purposes.
UOM: 1 * 250 mL

UOM: 1 * 200 µl

Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-13366R-A680)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: GK2 is a 553 amino acid protein that belongs to the FGGY kinase family and is involved in the pathway of glycerol degradation. Localized to the outer membrane of the mitochondrion and expressed at high levels in testis, GK2 functions to catalyze the ATP-dependent conversion of glycerol to glycerol 3-phosphate. Via its catalytic activity, GK2 plays an essential role in the regulation of glycerol uptake and metabolism. The gene encoding GK2 maps to chromosome 4, which encodes nearly 6% of the human genome and has the largest gene deserts (regions of the genome with no protein encoding genes) of all of the human chromosomes. Defects in some of the genes located on chromosome 4 are associated with Huntington's disease, Ellis-van Creveld syndrome, methylmalonic acidemia and polycystic kidney disease.
