Description: This product is prepared by labeling highly cross-adsorbed donkey anti-rat IgG (H+L) with our near-IR fluorescent dye CF™680. To minimize cross-reactivity, the antibody has been adsorbed against bovine, chicken, goat, guinea pig, Syrian hamster, horse, human, mouse, rabbit, and sheep serum proteins. Far red/near-infrared CF™680 (Ex/Em 681/698 nm) is brighter and produces antibody conjugates with the best signal-to-noise ratio compared to other spectrally similar dyes.

Description: Receptor for IL1A, IL1B and IL1RN. After binding to interleukin-1 associates with the corecptor IL1RAP to form the high affinity interleukin-1 receptor complex which mediates interleukin-1-dependent activation of NF-kappa-B, MAPK and other pathways. Signaling involves the recruitment of adapter molecules such as TOLLIP, MYD88, and IRAK1 or IRAK2 via the respective TIR domains of the receptor/coreceptor subunits. Binds ligands with comparable affinity and binding of antagonist IL1RN prevents association with IL1RAP to form a signaling complex.

Description: Essential bifunctional enzyme that catalyses both the N-deacetylation and the N-sulfation of glucosamine (GlcNAc) of the glycosaminoglycan in heparan sulfate. Modifies the GlcNAc-GlcA dissacharide repeating sugar backbone to make N-sulfated heparosan, a prerequisite substrate for later modifications in heparin biosynthesis. Plays a role in determining the extent and pattern of sulfation of heparan sulfate. Compared to other NDST enzymes, its presence is absolutely required. Participates in biosynthesis of heparan sulfate that can ultimately serve as L-selectin ligands, thereby playing a role in inflammatory response.

Description: Llama anti-mouse CF™ dye conjugates are prepared by labeling affinity purified llama anti-mouse IgG (H+L) with a selection of CF™ dyes. CF™ dyes offer combined advantages in brightness, photostability, and specificity compared other fluorescent dyes. Red fluorescent CF™568 (Ex/Em 562/583 nm) produces much brighter antibody conjugates than Alexa Fluor® 568, and has superior photostability.

Alexa Fluor® is a registered trademark of Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Description: This conjugate is prepared by labeling F(ab’)2 fragment of goat anti-mouse IgG (H+L) with CF™594 dye. CF™ dyes offer advantages in brightness, photostability, and specificity compared to other fluorescent dyes. Deep-red fluorescent CF™594 (Ex/Em 593/614 nm) is spectrally similar to Alexa Fluor® 594 and Texas Red® dye but yields much brighter protein conjugate, and has excellent photostability.

Alexa Fluor® and Texas Red® are registered trademarks of Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Description: Llama anti-rabbit CF™ dye conjugates are prepared by labeling affinity purified llama anti-rabbit IgG (H+L) with a selection of CF™ dyes. CF™ dyes offer combined advantages in brightness, photostability, and specificity compared other fluorescent dyes. Far-red fluorescent CF™647 (Ex/Em 650/665 nm) is brighter than Cy®5 and an excellent alternative to Alexa Fluor® 647 for antibody conjugates.

Description: Death Associated Protein 5 (DAP5) is a 97 kDa protein with high amino acid sequence homology to Eukaryotic Translation Initiation Factor 4G (eIF4G). Compared with eIF4G, DAP5 lacks the N-terminal region necessary for cap-dependent translation and has a unique C-terminal part functioning as a regulator for interferon-gamma induced cell death. During apoptosis, DAP5 is cleaved at Asp790. The C-terminal truncated form of DAP5 functions as a cap-independent translation initiation factor responsible for the mediation of its own translation during apoptosis.

Description: Borrelia burgdorferi is a spirochete and the cause of Lyme disease, a tick transmitted illness of humans and animals. B. burgdorferi may persist in humans and animals for months or years following initial infection, despite a robust humoral immune response. B. burgdorferi resembles other spirochetes in that it is a highly specialized, motile, two-membrane, spiral shaped bacteria which lives primarily as an extracellular pathogen. B. burgdorferi has an unusual genome compared with other eubacteria which includes a linear chromosome approximately one megabase in size and numerous linear and circular plasmids.

Description: Serine-type endopeptidase involved in atrial natriuretic peptide hormone (NPPA) processing. Converts through proteolytic cleavage the non-functional propeptide NPPA into the active hormone, thereby regulating blood pressure in heart and promoting natriuresis, diuresis and vasodilation. Proteolytic cleavage of pro-NPPA also plays a role in female pregnancy by promoting trophoblast invasion and spiral artery remodeling in uterus. Also acts as a regulator of sodium reabsorption in kidney. May also process pro-NPPB the B-type natriuretic peptide. Isoform 2: has weaker endopeptidase activity compared to isoform 1.

Description: FMR2 is a 1311 amino acid nuclear protein belonging to the AF4 family. Expressed in the brain, placenta and lung, FMR2 exists as two isoforms produced by alternative splicing. Defects in the gene that encodes FMR2 have been found to be a cause of FRAXE, an X-linked form of mental retardation. Individuals expressing the FRAXE site also have more than two-hundred copies of a GCC repeat adjacent to CpG island, compared to six to thirty-five copies of the GCC repeat in a normal individual. It is believed that loss of FMR2 expression causes this GCC expansion of the FRAXE site.

Description: MAGEA5 is a member of the MAGEA gene family. The members of this family encode proteins with 50 to 80% sequence identity to each other. The promoters and first exons of the MAGEA genes show considerable variability, suggesting that the existence of this gene family enables the same function to be expressed under different transcriptional controls. The MAGEA genes are clustered at chromosomal location Xq28. They have been implicated in some hereditary disorders, such as dyskeratosis congenita. This MAGEA gene encodes a protein that is C-terminally truncated compared to other family members, and this gene can be alternatively interpreted to be a pseudogene.

Description: This gene is a member of the N-myc downregulated gene family which belongs to the alpha/beta hydrolase superfamily. The protein encoded by this gene is a cytoplasmic protein involved in stress responses, hormone responses, cell growth, and differentiation. Mutation in this gene has been reported to be causative for hereditary motor and sensory neuropathy-Lom. May have a growth inhibitory role. Ubiquitous; expressed most prominently in placental membranes and prostate, kidney, small intestine, and ovary tissues. Reduced expression in adenocarcinomas compared to normal tissues. In colon, prostate and placental membranes, the cells that border the lumen show the highest expression.
