Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-5749R)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Deoxycytidine kinase is responsible for the phosphorylation of several deoxyribonucleosides and their analogs. Deficiency of this enzyme activity is associated with resistance to antiviral and anticancer chemotherapeutic agents, whereas increased enzyme activity is associated with increased activation of these compounds to cytotoxic nucleoside triphosphate derivatives. It is the rate limiting enzyme in the activation of many important anticancer and retroviral drugs and its activity is often decreased in cells that are resistant to cytosine arabinoside.

Supplier: Thermo Fisher Scientific
Description: 2'-Deoxycytidine-5'-monophosphate 99%
Supplier: Thermo Fisher Scientific
Description: 5-Iodo-2'-deoxycytidine 99%
Supplier: MP Biomedicals
Description: 5-Iodo-2′-deoxycytidine (5-iododeoxycytidine) is used in the construction of DNA oligomers to enable structural studies and photoactivated cross-linking. 5-Iodo-2′-deoxycytidine is used in the synthesis of other modified nucleosides, such as 5-ethynylferrocenyl-2′-deoxycytidine used in semiconductor electrodes and 10-(2-deoxyβ-D-ribofuranosyl)pyrimido[4′,5′:4,5]pyrimido[1,6-a]indole-6,9(7H)-dione (dCPPI).

Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-6548R)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: MARVELD1, (MARVEL domain-containing 1), is one of the MARVEL (MAL and related proteins for vesicle trafficking and membrane link) domain-containing proteins. It is a nuclear-localized protein that is widely expressed in normal human tissues. While it has been reported to be overexpressed in colon cancer, MARVELD1 protein levels are generally lower in several primary tumors including ovary, breast, kidney, bladder and liver. This lower level of MARVELD1 expression in tumors is thought to be due to a higher methylation status of the MARVELD1 promoter as treatment of MDA-MB-361 with 5-aza-2'-deoxycytidine restores MARVELD1 expression, suggesting that loss of MARVELD1 expression may contribute to tumorgenicity.

Supplier: Thermo Fisher Scientific
Description: 2'-Deoxycytidine
Catalog Number: (J65408.MC)
Supplier: Thermo Fisher Scientific
Description: 2'-Deoxycytidine-5'-diphosphate trisodium salt ≥96%
UOM: 1 * 100 mg

Supplier: MP Biomedicals
Description: 5-Aza-2'-deoxycytidine is an epigenetic modifier that inhibits DNA methyltransferase activity which results in DNA demethylation (hypomethylation) and gene activation by remodeling "opening" chromatin. Genes are synergistically reactivated when demethylation is combined with histone hyperacetylation.

Catalog Number: (PRSI92-064)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: Deoxycytidine Kinase (DCK) is a member of the DCK/DGK family. DCK exists as a homodimer and is localised to the nucleus. DCK is required for the phosphorylation of the deoxyribonucleosides deoxycytidine (dC), deoxyguanosine (dG), and deoxyadenosine (dA). DCK has broad substrate specificity, and does not display selectivity based on the chirality of the substrate. In addition, DCK is also an essential enzyme for the phosphorylation of numerous nucleoside analogs widely employed as antiviral and chemotherapeutic agents. DCK is clinically important because of its relationship to drug resistance and sensitivity.
