The KB series with compressor cooling consumes up to 30% less energy compared to its predecessor. Refrigerated incubators are mainly used for culturing tasks that need to be carried out at temperatures below room temperature or if high ambient temperatures cannot be avoided. The cooling system and the controllable fan guarantee high degrees of humidity even during cooling mode, or prolonged testing, to protect samples from drying out even when fully loaded.
- Electronically controlled APT.line™ preheating chamber and cooling with compressor cooling unit provide ideal conditions for temperature accuracy and reproducible results in both heating and cooling situations
- Controller with time-segment and real-time programming
- Inner door made of tempered safety glass
- Adjustable fan speed
Units up to 115 litres can be stacked on top of each other to save space. Safety features include an independent adjustable temperature safety device Class 3.1 with a visual and audible alarm, which protects the samples and the incubator. All units have a microprocessor program controller, with LED display, programming options, weekly program function and a temperature monitor Class 3.1 (DIN 12880). Ethernet interface for communication software APT-COM™ DataControlSystem (software optional). The 240, 400 and 720 litre units have a door heating system and an access port with silicone plug Ø 30 mm on the left hand side.
