Circulating Thermostats Closed Circulator Systems Temperature Control Systems
The Integral XT process thermostats are ideal for temperature control of external circuits. These compact units offer powerful heating and cooling capacities, and can be used in laboratory or production mini plants in the chemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries due to a wide temperature range. The Integral XT process thermostats provide extremely fast temperature changes which are based on the low, internally thermostated heat transfer volumes and have a wide working temperature range. The units consist of a circulation thermostat with a very small internal volume and the non-perfused expansion vessel, which is not thermostated, is used for the volume compensation in case of temperature changes.

  • Units can operate from −70 up to +220 °C without changing fluids
  • SelfCheck assistant ensures user is automatically alerted to possible faults including over-temperature/overloading with visual and acoustic alarms
  • Programmable control timer includes real-time clock with storage for up to 150 temperature/time segments, each with five programs
  • Integrated opto-decoupled RS232/RS485 interface as standard
  • Control head console can be detached and used as a remote control (up to 50 meters)

The bath fluid circulates in a closed system reducing evaporation and oxidation of the fluid, and increasing fluid service life. At low temperatures, condensation is reduced and, at high temperatures, unpleasant odours are less. It is possible to work above the fire point of the bath liquid if it is sufficiently higher than the temperature in the expansion vessel (according to DIN EN 61010-1 standard, minimum 25 K). All this simplifies the thermostating process, and leads to significantly lower operating costs. Units are filled from the top and a central front tap allows bath fluid to be changed easily. Smaller models have handles on the sides and front, together with castors so they can be moved conveniently. Integral XT units feature a powerful 8 step variopump and back-lit, graphic LCD display with actual values in 0,1/0,01 or 0,001 °C resolution, data input is via either cursor keys or numerical soft keys. The display provides clear text messages and graphical representation of sequential temperature curves and are menu driven in four languages (German, English, French and Spanish). Integrated external regulator with cascade connection.

Maximum pump capacities (for both water cooled, and other models):

XT 150 - XT 1590 W: 45 L/min, XT 1850 W: 90 L/min

Certifications: IP protection class according to DIN EN 60529: IP 21.

Ordering information: Note XT 750, XT 750 H, XT 490 W, XT 950 W, XT 1590 WS, XT 1850 W and XT 1850 WS units require a three phase power supply. W denotes models are water cooled.

Caution: Cooling capacity at +20 °C
