Benchtop Forced Convection Chamber Furnaces, with Tmax 650 or 850 °C
Ovens Furnaces (Ashing and Muffle Ovens)
These forced convection chamber furnaces provide good temperature uniformity. Due to their compact benchtop design, this series is very well suited for use in laboratories or areas with limited space.

  • Choice of models with Tmax 650 or 850 °C
  • Horizontal air circulation with optimum distribution via stainless steel baffles
  • Dual shell housing made of textured stainless steel sheets with additional fan cooling for low surface temperature
  • Integrated control unit
  • Swing door is hinged on the right side, door opening temperatures up to 400 °C
  • Optimum air distribution enabled by high flow speeds
  • Air inlet on rear wall of the furnace
  • Adjustable exhaust port in the furnace ceiling (not model NAT 15/65)
  • Access port (15 mm Ø) in the furnace ceiling (not model NAT 15/65)
  • Temperature uniformity up to ±6 °C according to DIN 17052-1 (±5 °C for NAT 15/65 models)

Exclusive use of insulation materials without categorization according to EC Regulation No 1272/2008 (CLP). This explicitly means that alumino silicate wool, also known as 'refractory ceramic fibre' (RCF), which is classified and possibly carcinogenic, is not used. Over-temperature limiter with adjustable cutout temperature as temperature limiter to protect the furnace and load (not model NAT 15/65).

Applications include preheating of components for shrink-fit processes, heat treatment of metals in air such as aging, stress relieving, soft annealing or tempering, and heat treatment of glass.

Approximate heat-up time to Tmax (in an empty furnace) is 40 minutes for NAT 15/65 models, 80 minutes for NAT 30/65 models, 100 minutes for NAT 60/65 models, 190 minutes for NAT 15/85 models and 230 minutes for NAT 30/85 and NAT 50/85 models.

Units feature different controllers: the standard touch operated B500/B510 controller with touch screen display, featuring five freely adjustable programs, four segments and two extra functions. Alternatively chose the C540/C550 controller with touch screen display, featuring 10 freely adjustable programs and 20 segments and two extra functions. All these controllers are PID microprocessor controlled with a self-diagnostic system and integrated process documentation. NTLog Basic for Nabertherm controller: recording of process data with USB-flash drive. Freeware NTEdit for convenient program input via ExcelTM for WindowsTM on the PC and Freeware NTGraph for evaluation and documention of firings using ExcelTM for WindowsTM on a PC, MyNabertherm App for online monitoring of the firing on mobile devices can be downloaded for free.

Certifications: These products fulfill the following harmonisation regulations of the EU: 2006/42/EC (Machinery Directive), 2014/30/EU (EMC), 2011/65/EU (RoHS).

Ordering information: Nabertherm provides for a guarantee on the furnace function with respect to standard industrial use as well as on spare parts for 12 months starting from the day of delivery. Wear and tear of parts or damages due to improper use or maintenance not in compliance with the operating instructions as well as damages due to interaction between furnace components and charge are excluded from the guarantee.

Caution: Maximum continuous operating temperature should be 50 °C below the 'Max. temp.' of the model.
