Gas monitor for supplied breathing air, GX4
Respirators Respiratory Systems
The RPB GX4 gas monitor continually monitors the quality of supplied breathing air. As soon as the air is no longer of EN breathing air standard, the unit will alarm to warn the respirator wearer that air entering the respirator is no longer safe to breath.

  • Illuminated display that shows real time data
  • Complete quick and easy calibration checks with no set points required
  • 103 dBA staccato alarm
  • Monitor up to four gases simultaneously
  • Sturdy mounting bracket
  • Cartridges can be easily removed and replaced
  • Robust power inlet
  • Push-release air inlet
  • Strong nylon ABS case will handle the harshest of conditions
  • Operating temperature: 0 to 45 °C

The GX4 can monitor for:
• Carbon Monoxide - alarm point +5 ppm (EN standard)
• Carbon Monoxide - alarm point +10 ppm
• Hydrogen Sulphide - alarm point 10 ppm
• Oxygen - alarm point anything outside of 19,5 to 23% Oxygen (EN Standard)

Further to monitoring and alarming, the unit also keeps a full data log for the beathing air records for up to two years, allowing login through built-in wifi on user's phone, tablet, or computer. Review the air records and any events that have been logged. These reports can be downloaded on a csv/excel file and stored away in company records.

The unit can be mounted on the side of the 04 to 900 RPB radex breathing airline filter, or hard mounted into the shop/facility breathing airline system. Only one monitor is required per air source (compressor). The Sensors have a calibration life span of 2 years. However, a regular bump check is required to ensure the sensors are still reading accurately. This is a simple 2-minute task. At the end of the test, the calibration certificate automatically updates itself.

Certifications: EN 12021.
