Wright Stain solution, for microscopy (Eosin Methylene blue solution according to Wright; Wright's eosin methylene blue)
Wright Stain is a modified Romanowsky stain commonly used for the cellular elements of blood. Wright′s stain is a mixture of eosin Y with polychromed (oxidized and partly demethylated) methylene blue and therefore termed polychrome stains. The hematological stain is intended for differentially staining peripheral blood and bone marrow films.
