Leucoberbelin Blue I
Leucoberbelin blue I has been used as a quencher in time-resolved fluorescence QRET technique for receptor-ligand interaction screening and to detect oxidized manganese species in Mn(II) (manganese) oxidation assays.
Leucoberbelin Blue I is a colourimetric reagent redox dye. It is a water-soluble leuco base also abbreviated as LBB. Upon oxidation, LBB forms a coloured complex which is stoichiometrically related to the oxidation state of the reagent.
