Phenolphthalein bisphosphate tetrasodium salt
Phenolphthalein bisphosphate tetrasodium salt has been used as a component of modified Baird Parker (BP) agar to determine the expression of phosphatases of Staphylococcus aureus ATCC12600. It also been used as a component of modified Tryptose phosphate/phenolphthalein/methyl green (M-TPMG) agar to detect enteroinvasive Escherichia coli (EIEC) apyrase activity.
