Fungal RNA kit, E.Z.N.A.®

Description: Modified from the E.Z.N.A.® Plant RNA kit, the E.Z.N.A.® Fungal RNA kit uses an improved buffer system that is more efficient for fungal samples. This kit provides convenient and rapid methods for the isolation of total RNA from a variety of fungal species. Rather, the method involves a simple and rapid precipitation step for removal of much of the polysaccharides and phenolic compounds commonly found in fungal tissues. In combination with HiBind® RNA spin columns, this method permits purification of high quality RNA from as much as 200 mg tissue. The system is also efficient enough to purify total RNA from as little as 10 mg of tissue or 100 cells. Purified RNA can be used for many downstream applications such as RT-PCR, northern blotting, Poly(A)+ mRNA purification, and differential display.

RNA isolation, total RNA kit, E-Z 96®

Description: The E-Z 96® Total RNA Kit is designed for isolation of total cellular RNA from up to 5×10⁶ cultured cells or soft tissues. This kit can process single or multiple samples in less than 60 minutes. Utilising HiBind® silica plate technology, the need for phenol/chloroform extractions, CsCl gradient ultracentrifugation, and precipitation with isopropanol or LiCl are eliminated. Samples are lysed in a denaturing lysis buffer which inactivates RNases. Binding conditions are adjusted and the lysate is transferred to a 96-well HiBind® RNA Plate where the RNA is purified via three wash steps. High quality RNA is eluted in RNase-free water. RNA purified using the E-Z 96® Total RNA method is ready for applications such as RT-PCR, qPCR, differential display, microarrays, and other downstream applications.

Description: The AdEasy Virus Purification Kit allows the purification and concentration of Adenovirus (from Ad5 strains) with Sartobind® syringe filters containing an ion exchange membrane adsorber that selectively binds adenoviral particles. Once bound, viral particles can be further purified by washing away nonspecifically-bound proteins before elution. Concentrated and purified viral particles can be obtained in 2 to 3 hours, in contrast to traditional CsCl gradient centrifugation which typically takes 12 to 48 hours.
